Hey there, my name is Chè Nxusani. I’m a Principal Software Engineer and technical lead based in Cape Town, South Africa, working remotely across product engineering, R&D, innovation, and architecture. I’ve helped lead teams and build products for well-known brands including Elsevier, Osmosis.org, Axel Springer, Red Bull, Amer Sports, and Dimension Data, turning complex ideas into useful software with clear business impact.
My recent work has focused on AI-driven healthcare and education products at Elsevier and Osmosis, including the integration of RAG based AI workflows and agents to support semantic search, content recommendation, and workflow automation. I’ve led both B2C and B2B engineering teams, with a strong emphasis on systems design, data modeling, developer productivity, mentorship, ethical AI, and privacy-aware implementation.
Over the years I’ve worked across medical education, publishing, aviation, real estate, telecommunications, advertising, sports, and enterprise software, from large-scale enterprise projects to focused product work with companies such as Victor, Property.Works, and enviolo.
I’m especially interested in the space where engineering, product design, user experience, and AI meet.
